Use the Zooter to Get Information Out of Zoot

| · | Transfer data between two applications other than Zoot

| · | If no text appears when you click, hold down the Ctrl key and click again. This registers the application as a Zooter Object. Once you've registered an application as a Zooter Object, you won't have to hold down the Ctrl key again.

| · | You can send multiple Zoot items to another application using the Send To command. First select the items you wish to send, then click the Zooter and choose Send To from the pop-up menu. Zoot displays an Options Dialog so you can choose how you want the selected items to be formatted.

| · | You can use the Send To command to send information to Microsoft Outlook. You can send either highlighted text from the active application or you can send selected Zoot items. If you send highlighted text, Zoot creates a new Outlook item along with the highlighted text, then opens the new Outlook item for your inspection. If you send selected Zoot items, Zoot transfers the items from Zoot to Outlook, but does not open the new Outlook items. To send information to Outlook using the Zooter, select the information, then click the Zooter and choose SendTo | Outlook | <Type> (where <Type> is the type of Outlook item you want created).

| · | To quickly send the contents of the active document to the application you were last using, click on the Zooter icon with the third mouse button (press the mousewheel if your mouse has one).
