The Quick Query box lets you quickly search the contents of the active database. Type in a word or phrase and Zoot immediately displays any matching items. You can use the Boolean operators AND, OR, NEAR and NOT. If no operator is used between search terms, Zoot assumes the AND operator unless you specify otherwise in Zoot's Advanced Options.
Zoot displays matching folders at the top of the list (in yellow) and any matching items follow. Press the Enter key and Zoot will display all matching items in a new folder for you, or you can select one or more individual items from the list and click the Save button to view just those items. Double-click a single item in the list and Zoot will open just that item for you.
