When you synchronize Zoot with Outlook, items processed are assigned one of three categories:
Zoot: Active
This category is assigned to items when they are synchronized the first time.
Zoot: Archived
This category is assigned to items that have been synchronized and then moved to another database.
Zoot: Deleted
This category is assigned to items that have been synchronized and then deleted from your Zoot database.
View Outlook Items by Category
You can quickly locate Outlook items with the Zoot: <XYZ> category set by grouping the items in Outlook by category. From Outlook's main menu, choose View | Current View | By Category. Outlook displays the items grouped by category.
Always Synchronize Before Compacting a Database
If you want to compact a database that you synchronize with Outlook, always synchronize with Outlook before compacting, otherwise Zoot won't be able to make proper category assignments during the synchronization (because the items will have been permanently removed from the Zoot database after compacting).
