The Startup Tab provides various options related Zoot's initial state when you run the program.

Open Startup Project on Startup
Check this box if you want Zoot to always open your Startup project when you first run the program. If unchecked, Zoot opens the project you were working with when you last exited the program.

Open Last Active Database on Startup
Check this box if you want Zoot to open the database you were working in when you last exited the program. If unchecked, Zoot will only open the project database.

Turn off Clipboard Mode on Startup
By default, Zoot turns off clipboard mode when you exit the program. This way you won't create items inadvertently when you restart the program. If you want clipboard mode on all of the time, check this box.

Minimize Zoot to the System Tray
Check this box and Zoot will minimize to the Windows System (Icon) Tray instead of the Windows Taskbar. When Zoot is minimized to the System Tray, double-click the little Zooter icon in the System Tray to restore it. To exit Zoot, right-click on the Zooter icon and choose Quit from the pop-up menu.

Minimize Zoot to the System Tray on Startup
Check this box and Zoot will load minimized in the System Tray.

Store My Data in Folders Under...
By default, Zoot stores your data (database files, attachments, etc.) in folders in a folder called "Zoot Files", which is located under your 'Documents' (or 'My Documents') folder. To change the location, click the little [-] button and specify a new folder. After you make your selection, Zoot will shut down automatically. Use Windows Explorer to manually move your 'Database' and 'Storage' folders to the new location. These folders are located here:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\My Documents\Zoot Files\Database
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\My Documents\Zoot Files\Storage

Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Zoot Files\Database
C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Zoot Files\Storage
