Zoot features several special file import commands:
To access these commands, choose File | Import from Zoot's main menu.
Import Zoot Database
Choose this command to import the items from one Zoot database to another. This process does not modify the source database in any way.
Extract Web Links
Choose this command to extract all valid Web URLs from a HTML file or any other file containing embedded URLs. Zoot creates a Web Link item with every valid URL found.
Extract E-mail Links
Choose this command to extract all valid E-mail addresses from a file. Zoot creates a Contact item for every valid e-mail address found.
