Zoot provides a number of ways to move around the various elements of the Zoot Desktop.
Favorites
Click the Favorites button on the toolbar and Zoot displays a pop-up menu of your favorite folders in the database. This is a quick way to jump around to key folders in the Folder Tree. Keyboard shortcut: F4.
Backward/Forward
Just to the right of the Favorites button you'll find Backward and Forward buttons that let you quickly move backward and forward to the folders you have visited during your current session with Zoot. These buttons work more or less like the buttons on your favorite Web browser. Keyboard shortcut: Alt+LeftArrow and Alt+RightArrow
Next/Previous
At the far right side of the toolbar you'll find UpArrow/DownArrow buttons that let you move to the next/previous item in the Item Grid. Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+> and Ctrl+<
Pane Focus
To set the input focus to the various window panes on the Zoot Desktop, use the keystrokes Ctrl+UpArrow and Ctrl+DownArrow. Press each key repeatedly to move the input focus from pane to pane.
Quick Query
To move immediately to the Quick Query box, press Ctrl+Q. You can begin typing your query immediately.
