Manage Shortcuts

To manage the shortcuts in an item's shortcut collection, click the big (Z) button, located just above the Item Editor (left side) and choose Open Shortcuts Manager from the pop-up menu (or press F9).

The Shortcuts Manager provides you with all the tools you need to manage a growing collection of shortcuts. Shortcuts Manager lets you:

Create a new shortcut or rename an existing shortcut

Change various shortcut properties

·

Create a new shortcut group or rename an existing shortcut group

·

Move shortcuts from one group to another group

·

Copy and paste shortcuts to and from the clipboard

All of the commands you need to manipulate shortcuts can be accessed by right clicking. To work with a shortcut, right-click on the shortcut itself and choose a command from the pop-up menu. To work with a shortcut group, right-click on the group bar. The commands are self-explanatory.


Notes:

Every shortcut collection has at least one shortcut group called My Shortcuts. Zoot may also create other shortcut groups in order to help you keep your shortcuts organized. You can also create your own shortcut groups.

To view the shortcuts in a shortcuts group, click on shortcuts group bar. The group bar will immediately rise to the top of the shortcuts window, revealing all of the shortcuts in the group.

To move shortcuts from one group to another group, highlight the shortcuts you want to move, then drag and drop them onto the target group bar.
