Manage Projects
Top  Previous  Next

Use Project Manager to add databases to the active project or to remove databases from the active project. You can also create new projects or open existing projects here.

The Project Manager window is divided into two panes. In the left pane you'll find a list of the project file folders. These folders contain your database files (these are the same file folders you see when you open Database Manager). In the pane on the right you'll find a list of the databases currently assigned to the active project. These databases are organized according to the file folder in which they reside on your disk drive. To add or remove databases from the active project, use the [>] and [<] buttons located between the two window panes.

Once you've added a database to the active project you can double-click on it to open it. To open more than one database, select the databases, then right-click and choose the appropriate command from the pop-up menu. To close project manager, click the [X] button in the top right corner (or press the ESC key).

Notes:

·When you double-click on a database in the active project list (left pane) that database becomes the new project database and Zoot will close Project Manager, save and close any open databases, then open the new project database. This new project database selection will remain in effect until you change it again as described above.

·You cannot change the physical location of database files using Project Manager. If you want to move database files to different project file folders, use Database Manager or Windows Explorer instead.
