How to View More Items in the Item Grid
Top  Previous  Next

Be default, Zoot will only display the first 1000 items in a folder. If the active view is set up to sort by <Date Created>, then Zoot will display the most recent 1000 items (or the oldest 1000 items if it's a reverse sort).

This Item Grid limitation does not limit the number of items that can be assigned to a given folder. If a folder has 15,000 items assigned to it, Zoot will display the first 1000. If you apply a filter to the view, Zoot will examine all 15,000 items and display only those that match the filter criteria.

If you need to view more than 1000 items, choose Tools | Options and click the Tweak3 Tab, then uncheck the Limit Item Grid to 1000 Items checkbox, however, keep the following points in mind:

·Working more than 1000 items is generally impractical. It's better to work with a smaller, more focused subset of items.

·Loading more than 1000 items can be slow, depending on the speed of your computer.

·If a view has multiple columns and you're running many applications alongside Zoot, loading too many items in the Item Grid can result in low memory problems.
