How to Use Quick Filter

Use Quick Filter to limit the Item Grid to a subset of items:

1. From the Query menu, choose Quick Filter (click the little [?] icon). The [?] icon will change to a filter icon indicating you are in Quick Filter mode.  
 
2. Type a word or phrase and press the Enter key. Zoot immediately updates the Item Grid, displaying only those items that match the word or phrase you typed in. To quickly turn off Quick Filter mode, click on the little filter icon and it will change back to the [?] icon.  


Notes:

·To quickly toggle Quick Filter on/off, press Ctrl+Q repeatedly.  
 
·If you find you use Quick Filter mode frequently, you can make this the default mode. From Zoot's main menu, choose Tools | Options and click the Startup tab. Look for the Quick Filter mode checkbox.
