How to Undo It
Top  Previous  Next

When you delete an item in Zoot, the item is not permanently deleted from your database until you compact the database. To undelete an item, you have three options:

Undo Last Delete - This command will undelete the item last deleted. From Zoot's main menu, choose Edit | Undo Special | Undo Last Delete.

Undo All Deletes - This command will undelete all deleted items in the database. Zoot creates a folder to hold the undeleted items. From Zoot's main menu, choose Edit | Undo Special | Undo All Deletes.

Undo All Changes - This command will undo all changes made to the database since the last time the database was saved to file. This undo includes folder deletes, item deletes and editing changes, so use care when executing this command. From Zoot's main menu, choose Edit | Undo Special | Undo All Changes.

Notes:

·In cases where you are unable to retrieve deleted folders or items using the various Undo commands, you may be able to retrieve them by restoring a backup database. For more information, search the help file for Backup.
