How to Quickly Find Folders and Items

You can quickly find folders in the Folder Tree or items in the Item Grid by typing the first few letters of the folder or item you seek. First set the input focus to either the Folder Tree or the Item Grid, then begin typing. Zoot displays any matches as you type. Press the Enter key to go directly to the matching folder or item.

When used in the Item Grid, this method searches only the items currently displayed in the Item Grid. In the Folder Tree all folders are included in the search. To search all items in the database, use Quick Query instead.
