How to Edit a Delimited Field

To change the properties of a delimited field (data type, column heading, etc.), use one of the following methods:

If the delimited field is currently displayed in a column, right-click the column and choose Edit Column Field.

Otherwise, click the Smart button and select Field Chooser from the pop-up menu. From the drop down list of field types, choose the field group in which the field you seek resides. If you created the field yourself, choose User-defined Fields. Once you've located the field, double-click on it to open the Field Properties Dialog.
