Folder Tree Menu

You access the Folder Tree pop-up menu by right-clicking on the Folder Tree. The pop-up menu features the following commands.

New
Create a new folder.

Open
Open selected folders in a detached folder window.

Copy
Copy a shortcut to the selected folder(s) to the clipboard. The shortcut(s) can then be pasted into an item's Shortcuts Collection or into a Windows file folder or onto the Windows Desktop. Search help for Shortcuts to learn more.

SendTo
Copy or move folders to another database.

Tree
Indent >> or unindent << selected folders.

Filter
Filters the Item Grid by folder.

·New Filter Group - starts a new filter group, while maintaining any previous filter combinations.  
 
·Combine Using AND Operator - filters the Item Grid so that only items assigned to all selected folders will be displayed.  
 
·Combine Using OR Operator - filters the Item Grid so that only items assigned to at least one of the selected folders will be displayed.  

Rule
Access various rule related commands.

·Subject Only - create a subject only rule using the folder name as the criteria.  
 
·Body Only - create a body only rule using the folder name as the criteria.  
 
·Subject or Body - create a subject or body rule using the folder name as the criteria.  
 
·Refresh Folder Rules - run the selected folder rule against all items in the database (rarely necessary).  
 
·Clear Blocked Items - search the database for any items that have been explicitly removed from the selected folder and clear the block so that the affected items are once again eligible to be assigned to the folder by its rule.  

Rename
Rename the selected folder.

Type
Change the folder type.

Color
Change the folder color.

Delete
·Folder Only - delete the selected folder(s), but not the items assigned to the folder(s).  
·Folder and Items - delete the selected folder(s) and any items assigned to the folder(s).  
·Folder Rules - delete any rules attached to the selected folder(s).  
·Folder Actions - delete any actions attached to the selected folder(s).  

Properties
View the properties of the selected folder.
