Create a Database Template

| 1. Open the database from which the template is to be generated.
|
|
|
| 2. From the main menu, choose File | Save | Save as Template.
|
|
|
| 3. Zoot asks you to supply a name for the database template. Enter a descriptive name and click the OK button.

|
| 4. Zoot asks if you want to include any items from the database in your template. If No if you do not want items included in your template. The template will still include all folders, rules, actions and views.

| 1. Create a new database based on the template you wish to modify.
|
|
|
| 2. Modify the new database as desired.
|
|
|
| 3. From the main menu, choose File | Save | Save as Template.
|
|
|
| 4. Zoot asks you to supply a name for the database template. Enter the name of the original template and click the OK button. Zoot will report that a template with that name already exists and ask if you want to overwrite the existing template. Answer Yes.
