Change the Project Database

There's nothing special about the project database except that is always the first database to open when you run Zoot or when you open a project. Typically the project database will have the same name as the project itself. If you would prefer to have a different database open when you start Zoot or when you open a given project, you can specify a different project database.


To specify a different project database follow these steps:

1. On the toolbar click the Project button to open Project Manager.

2. In the window pane on the left side, open the project that contains the database you want to designate as the project database and double-click it.

Zoot saves and closes any open databases, then opens the selected project database. This new project database will open whenever you run Zoot, unless you change it again.
