Located just above the Item Grid (right side) is a status bar which features active elements:
Filter Icon
Click the filter icon for quick access to the Filter menu.
Folder Properties Icon
Click the Folder Properties icon for quick access to the Folder Properties Dialog.
Active View
The status bar shows both the name of the active folder and the name of the active view. The name of the active view is enclosed in brackets. When you hover your mouse pointer over this area, an underline appears indicating an active link. Click for quick access to the View menu.
