Zooter <Definition>

1. n. An interface element designed to facilitate the transfer of information to and from Zoot.

The Zooter provides a simple way to transfer information to and from Zoot. The Zooter is a tiny (z) icon located in the System (Icon) Tray of the Windows Taskbar. Left click or right click on the Zooter (or press Alt+Z or Ctrl+Alt+Z) to access the Zooter menu commands.


Using the Zooter you can:

·Create a new Zoot item with text selected in a document  
·Archive and link to a complete Web page, including graphics and links  
·Create a new Microsoft Outlook item with text selected in a document  
·Insert text from a Zoot item into another document  
·Find and open a Zoot item while working in another application  
·Find and launch a Web site stored in the Web database  
·Send text selected in one document to another document
