Zoot lets you track folders and files 3 ways.

Zoot features a special File Link item type that points to a folder or file on disk but behaves like a database item. This lets you manage your disk drive assets using Zoot's powerful database tools.

You can also attach folders and files to a database item in order to associate a file or group of files with a particular item. You can create Task items related to particular files, for instance.

You can create Folder Links that mirror folders on your computer. Zoot monitors these folders and updates your database with any changes so that your database provides a one-to-one mirror image of the files on disk.
